Texas Attorney General
USUS-TXtexasattorneygeneral.gov
The Texas Attorney General enforces Texas's data breach notification statute, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code §521.053. Notice to the Attorney General is required when a breach affects at least 250 Texas residents. Breach Census ingests the Attorney General's published breach-notification register daily and uses each notice — together with the affected-resident count it reports (the count is Texas residents only, not a total; the register’s underlying data also carries a separate national-total field, not shown in its public table, which this site uses to fill an incident-level records-affected figure that is otherwise empty) — to build an incident record. The register itself does not publish a separate enforcement-action feed, so no rows appear in the table below.
